In One Piece

This collection has been an exploration of the sculptural and expressive potential of a single piece of tessellated paper. The paper is painted, folded, cut and torn, whilst leaving the paper whole is integral to the process.

The work starts out being precisely geometric but morphs into organic structures hinting at an underlying mathematical presence in nature, its landscapes, plants and animals.
